Craving Italian food, you don’t need pasta to eat Italian food

Depending on your journey, pick your version of pasta – hearts of palm, spiraled veggies 

Plant-based eating – everyone would eat better if we focus more on plant based and vegan

Mac and Cheese would not be ideal for a vegetarian diet.

Benefits of plant based eating – support micro nutrients

Protein is efficient and takes a lot to support the body

Plants have 59% less nutrients and minerals that it used to have 10+ years ago

Crop rotation meant you were growing different plants or vegetables each season

If food is supposed to be ripe at the grocery store, then its picked before its ripe which means we lessen the nutrients inside those fruits and vegetables

Grass fed beef and organic are going to be better

Fresher is better

Change the types of meats that we eat

Fight to make recommendations but if they aren’t bought in, it’s a challenge

Get rid of your scale as it’s the worst barometer of our health

Check your sleep and how do you feel during the day

Track your data throughout your day

Make small changes

Find the balance and see what small changes can do

Healthy plant-based diet

Protein and good fats and vegetables in our diets

Tracking and logging our food has taken a weight in people

Sugar craving was preceeded by a depletion in something else

Not a fan of weighing and measuring

Portion sizes will take care of themselves if you pick the right groups of foods
