In this episode, Todd and Mike discuss golf fitness, being certified Titleist Performance Institute professionals, and golf injuries.  Zack Buechner hosts this podcast and asks the questions.  Todd, Mike, and Zack cover golf fitness evaluations at Performance and in the clinic and how they approach golf injuries.  They review the benefits of having multiple Titleist Performance Institute certified health professionals in the clinic and how they help golfers improve their game.

(19:05) Swing plane gets shorter and golfers lose their posture and their swing becomes undone because a lack of flexibility. “Open book” stretch: laying on side and outstretched arms open and close and improve thoracic mobility.

(26:06) Doesn’t have to be a golf injury but maybe it’s the End of rehabilitation and an injury in someone who plays golf can use it to improve and return to golf.

(27:50) Trackman can help visually demonstrate to a golfer what they are doing wrong/right and gives data points to improve the golf swing such as swing path, face angle, etc.
